Fanny Reynaud is a cinematographer who graduated from ECAL (Switzerland) in 2020. After training alongside renowned directors of photography such as Agnès Godard AFC and Josée Deshaies, she began her career as a camera assistant on several feature films (Thunder by Carmen Jaquier, Cosmos by Germinal Roaux, Presque by Bernard Campan & Alexandre Jollien, etc.).

Alongside this, she shot the cinematography for numerous short fiction films before joining her first feature as B-camera operator on Bisons by Pierre Monnard, in collaboration with Joseph Areddy SCS (winner of the 2024 Swiss Film Award).

In 2023, she moved to Mexico for a year and a half to deepen her practice alongside members of the AMC, including its president Alfredo Altamirano. There, she worked on several commercial and feature projects as 2nd-unit DP, and later on the series Cometierra (Amazon Prime, slated for release on October 31, 2025) as 2nd-unit cinematographer.

Now back in Switzerland, strengthened by her experience in Mexico, she is dedicated to auteur, documentary, and fiction filmmaking, driven by a visual approach that is both sensitive and precise, inspired by the work of Sven Nykvist, Hélène Louvart AFC, and Christian Berger.
